*SPOILER ALERT ( TRANSFORMERS ONE) WATCH THE MOVIE BEFORE YOU READ THIS!!!
When I was a child I loved the Transformers; I even had transformer sheets on my cot in pre-k. Since then, time has passed and I don’t feel the same level of fanaticism for the transformers that I once had but I do still enjoy watching the movies.
A new Transformers movie came out, Transformers One, and the family and I went to the theater to watch it — it was a great movie. A little ways into the film I looked around at my family. As they watched the movie they seemed to be enjoying themselves; however, I was enjoying myself even more than they, because I realized that the obvious plot of the movie was not the only plot of the movie, at least in my opinion, …this subplot element seems to be true about many movies; however, the subplots for all movies do not share the same themes and objectives. Aside from this movie, I have noticed similar subplots in ET, The Matrix, The Chronicles of Narnia, Marvel movies, and a few others. As I read between the lines while watching this film, my mind seemed to pick up the following things:
Sentinel Prime is a type of the devil. He is a king of the underworld and he is a deceiver — a false prophet that the miners worship.
Alpha Trion is a type of Jesus. He reveals the truth, provided evidence of the truth, and sacrificed himself
The transformer cog seems to be a type of the Holy Spirit - providing supernatural power and abilities
The inner spark perhaps is the inner knowledge of God that God himself has instilled in every man Romans 1:20
The miners are supposed to be unbelievers — they have no transformer cog
Elita - 1 is an unbeliever that has been so indoctrinated by the world that she has been completely blinded to the truth and vigorously pursues success in the world
Protocols are the beliefs of the world that keep unbelievers distracted — busy and unaware of the truth
Primus is supposed to be a type of God - the one with ultimate authority
under the surface - the place where all the miners lived is supposed to be as scripture would call it “ the world” — regular every day society where people live theri daily lives, work, enjoy leisure, and raise their families
The Primes are types of Apostles/Pastors/Preaches/Bible Teachers filled with the Holy Spirit, who have been called (chosen) by God to perform an assignment, and gifted revelation from God. — Their assignment is to fight for and rescue all the miners under the surface who don’t know the truth
D-16 seems to be a type of Judas Iscariot — he was called yet he chose to be overcome by evil and because of it he acted in ways that he should not have. D-16 also seems to be a type of the Devil as well he caused a rebellion and amassed followers who followed his example
